Drawing, painting and artistic expression in the most varied forms have always accompanied Orsola Ruggeri.
Among the rare and indelible memories of her childhood, the most vivid one sees her in front of a blank sheet of paper with her few tools, urging to express her inner world with a sign.
It was her secret space of freedom. The only one in which, evading the expectations and judgments of others, she was finally able to be herself and express feelings and emotions.
Her artistic studies and the graphic profession were the natural outlet for her inclinations.
Now, over the years, in another season of life, Orsola has resumed the ancient and never abandoned passion: always in search of a free and personal expressive path.
She works with water, the freest of the elements, the one that feels closest to her.
And with the water she leaves on the paper traces of herself and her life.
The water sometimes stagnates, sometimes flows calmly.
In front of the obstacle it becomes impetuous, it can turn into a deluge, a waterfall, a vortex.
But water can also become refreshing, nourishing rain, steam that exhales from the warm earth and aspires to infinite spaces.
