Giorgio Esposito was born in Naples in 1963, where he currently lives and works. He started drawing with pens, crayons and pencils when he was a child, because he loved reproducing on paper and cards what he saw through his eyes. At the age of 25 he began to paint with watercolors, then he moved on with tempera, acrylic and finally oil colours. He belongs to a little artistic movement that can be considered the ideal continuation of the “School of Posillipo”. He is totally connected with nature, thus prefers to portray landscapes, full of colors and light, that he depicts on canvases with fascinating chromatic rhythms. He is currently experimenting a new contemporary genre, using mixed techiniques on different materials. He participated in many national exhibitions in cities such as Naples, Rome, Venice and Ravenna arousing a considerable interest among critics and art lovers.
